Peachland BC
Peachland has approximately 11 kilometres or 7 miles of public
beaches with allocated swimming areas, boating areas and a "doggy"
beach. the population is approximately five thousand very friendly
citizens. |
Peachland's downtown core is located along Beach Avenue which
follows the shoreline with spectacular parks and access to the lake.
The municipal offices, fire hall, chamber of commerce, shops, cafes,
hotel, pubs and businesses located on Beach Avenue are friendly and
tourist orientated. There is a community center, seniors center, two
elementary schools, a medical building with doctors and dentists, a
museum, a marina, a yacht club, a tennis court, ball diamonds.
Walking paths and parks along the beach, creek side park, and two
